Low Level Laser Light Therapy
Low level laser light therapy is an excellent tool to improve hair growth. Due to its low level, it is a safe treatment without any downtime for our patients. The light therapy improves blood flow to the hair root and allows the hairs to enter their active growth phase. This will lead to more hair and stronger hair.
Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) Therapy
Platelet Rich Plasma, PRP Therapy is one of our most effective therapies to improve hair growth. PRP relies on using the patient’s own proteins to stimulate hair growth.
About 10ml of blood is drawn by our surgeon and this is spun or centrifuged to obtain the plasma. This plasma contains platelets in high concentration.
These platelets have a lot of growth factors which stimulate hair growth. New hair follicles are recruited to areas where hair may be sparse, which means more hair. Thicker hairs will also grow due to an increased size of the hair follicle and better blood flow to the hair follicle.

Hair Transplantation
Hair transplantation is our most definitive treatment to achieve hair growth where patients have suffered the consequences of hair loss. Hair transplantation requires a consultation with our Royal College Surgeon, and careful surgical planning.
The procedure is done with local freezing and oral pain medication. Our goal is to have our patients experience no pain during this procedure.
An incision is taken from the back of the scalp where hair follicles are of the greatest density. This hair strip is then harvested for hair grafts which are later transplanted to areas where hair may be absent or thin.
There is some downtime for the patient as this is a surgical procedure and there is always a period of initial hair loss before the hair growth starts to rapidly occur.
Some patients may require more than 1 transplant to achieve their optimal result.

Capilicare Products
We carry the Capilicare line of hair growth products. These products contain Capixyl as their active ingredient. Capixyl is a 5-alpha-reductase inhibitor. This leads to a decrease in the amount of DHT (dihydrotesterone) which is a key component in hair loss. Capixyl also stimulates better blood flow to the hair root. This allows the hair root to increase in size and convert to its active phase of hair growth. This leads to more hairs and thicker hairs.
Our entire line of products is vegan based. This means that our products are gentle on the scalp and will reduce scalp irritation, which is another key component of hair loss.
